Gunther Friderichs, a patent attorney and an attorney-at-law as well as Representative before the Unified Patent Court, began studying legal sciences in Mainz in 1993 while earning a second degree in physics, passing his first legal state exam in 1997. After interning at Wiesbaden’s Environmental Office and in the Linde AG’s legal department, he passed his second state exam in 1999, specializing in economic law, and was admitted to practice law as of 2000. In addition, he completed his studies in patent engineering and technical physics  between 1999 and 2004. Beside his work as an attorney, Gunther Friderichs worked as lecturer in a legal coaching institute in Mainz until 2002.

Gunther Friderichs focuses his practice on the technical fields of mechanical engineering, materials, manufacturing engineering and medical technology. His areas of legal expertise also include infringement, Freedom to Operate research and analyses well as contract, trademark and design laws.
